Down The Aisle... TS Food Wins Major Listing
TS Foods, Cadbury, Procter & Gamble,Tate & Lyle

Northern Ireland based TS Foods has secured its second nationwide listing with supermarket giant Asda - in a contract valued at approximately £400,000. Putting TS Foods’ latest product, Tony’s Chippy Beef Burgers in Crispy Batter, ‘on-shelf’ UK wide in 340 Asda stores, this success follows that of the company’s battered sausage product which in 2008 secured nationwide listings with the retailer and now ranks amongst TS Foods’ top selling products.

Cadbury PLC shareholders have approved Kraft Foods Inc.'s offer to acquire the company - the final step in creating the global food giant.

Procter & Gamble say they are set to regain market share after the recession of the last year. The company reported a 6% rise in sales in the last quarter.

Tate & Lyle says that adjusted pre-tax profits for the nine months to December 2009 are in line with expectations, but third quarter trading was "marginally below expectations". This means that full year operating profits will be marginally lower than last year.More on this story
