Procter & Gamble, T-Mobile, Mars, Fosters, Heineken, P&G
Procter & Gamble's incoming chief executive and president, Robert McDonald, has big shoes to fill when he takes over from AG Lafley on 1 July. Lafley, a much-admired leader who is staying on as chairman of the FMCG multinational, has achieved business superstar status in his nine years at the helm.
T-Mobile UK has appointed Lloyds TSB General Insurance marketer, Helen Wylde, as its new head of prepay marketing.
Deri Watkins has been appointed Mars impulse sales director in the UK, replacing Shaid Shah, who has been promoted to general manager of the business in Ireland. Watkins will now be in charge of the impulse side of the business, which accounts for about £500m of consumer sales a year.
Foster's Group Limited (Foster's) has announced the appointment of David Dearie to the role of Managing Director, Australasian Wine. David will lead the Australian and New Zealand wine business created as a result of the Wine Strategic Review completed in February this year.

Stefan Orlowski
Heineken has appointed Stefan Orlowski, currently the brewer's group commerce director, as managing director of Scottish and Newcastle UK. His appointment, effective from July 1, comes two months after his predecessor, Jeremy Blood, shocked the company and the industry by resigning the post after less than a year in the job. Jean-François van Boxmeer, Heineken's chief executive, said he was delighted Orlowski had accepted what he described as a "critical leadership role in one of our highest priority markets". Orlowski had "the right attributes and experience to address the considerable challenges of the UK market", added Van Boxmeer. P&G has announced that A. G. Lafley will be stepping down as CEO on July 1, after nine years leading the global consumer products maker. He will remain as chairman. In this interview from the archive, Lafley discusses the role of CEO as coach, and the importance of a strong consumer orientation in achieving transformative change at P&G.
